About Us - What makes a great concert tour?

Wonderful concerts

Whatever your group type or standard, we can arrange concerts ideally suited to you and which will fulfil all your expectations. Venues include cathedrals, churches, spa centres, bandstands, schools and purpose-built concert halls. In some areas, we can arrange for you to perform in a local festival, while in others, a music organisation will host your concert and offer hospitality afterwards. Such experiences give you that extra flavour of the country you are visiting. Our 29 years’ experience means we have the knowledge and contacts to provide you with the right venues and experiences for your group.

Promoting your concerts

We work hard to generate excellent attendance at each concert, as we understand that an appreciative audience makes all the difference. We produce eye-catching posters and handbills which are sensibly displayed and distributed in the environs of your concerts. We also advertise your concerts in local What’s On Guides as well as newspapers, by way of press-releases. In addition, we invite local dignitaries, music societies and music students where possible to your concerts. You will also be provided with posters for your concerts, which will be displayed in your coach and placed on your Club Europe poster board at your venue by your Tour Manager before each concert, for last minute publicity.

Quality & Service

Let us arrange a rehearsal schedule at your accommodation centre, for your convenience.

Carefully chosen accommodation

All our accommodation is chosen by us with youth groups in mind and offers excellent value for money. On each destination page in this brochure, you will find one example of accommodation to be found in that area or resort which we recommend for school and youth groups. There are, however, many more not featured and we will be pleased to arrange for you to stay in the accommodation type of your choice. A room for instrument storage can often be set aside for your group, for which there is sometimes a charge payable.

We normally provide 3-6 bedded rooms for students and 2-3 bedded rooms for accompanying adults in addition to one single room for the party leader, which we include in all quotes. Single rooms for staff can be requested and, if available, a supplement is payable.

Quality & Service

Concert Profiles are completed upon booking to ensure we have every concert requirement from the beginning.

Exciting Itineraries

Our Operations team will devise for you, a tailor-made itinerary based on their experience of distances and timings.

Most of our staff have visited the regions we offer and there will always be someone with first hand experience of your resort to hand. Please ask us for more information.

Before departure, you will receive your ‘final pack’ which contains a full day-by-day itinerary, list of concert venues and all necessary information to do with your travel arrangements.

Quality & Service

We offer free guidebooks and luggage labels for every group travelling with us.

Comfort when traveling

We contract air-conditioned coaches for our tours and we take great care in selecting our coach operators. Your coach will meet you at school and will stay with you for the duration of your tour.

For comfort and value we recommend 48-seater single deck coaches, with reclining seats, toilet, video/DVD and PA system.

Trailers

Upon booking, we ask you provide us with a list of the equipment you wish to take on tour. If we consider the storage space within the coach is insufficient, we will, where possible, arrange a trailer for you (which will incur a supplement) or advise that you take an instrument van.

Travelling by Eurostar

Eurostar is a fantastic way for choirs, or instrumental groups with manageable instruments, to reach Paris, Disneyland Resort Paris or Brussels.

Travelling by air

You may consider flying a more convenient way to reach your destination and we can arrange your flights from your local airport as well as from London. With low cost carriers, we will require a list of passengers at the time of booking.

A helping hand

We consider a Tour Manager to be vital to the success of your concert tour. Their duties include:

  • Reconfirming concert arrangements
  • Liasing with venue organisers
  • Carrying out on-the-spot publicity
  • Discussing your daily itinerary with your driver(s)
  • Accompanying you on excursions

All Tour Managers speak the language of the country you are visiting (apart from Flemish-speaking countries) and many of them are practising musicians.

Some groups, however, prefer not to take a Tour Manager, particularly if they are familiar with the area and have a linguist in their party. In such cases, we are happy to arrange your tour without the services of one of our Tour Managers.

We carry out checks on all our Tour Managers to confirm they are suitable to work with our groups of young people and in addition to being briefed on your group they receive training on our Safety Management System.

Quality & Service

We are the only concert tour operator to offer a Tour Manager with every tour.
