Christmas tours are suitable for choirs and bands. Venues include churches, community homes, spa halls and hotels. To enjoy the festive spirit even more, groups should consider performing outdoors and therefore, music performed from memory, or a capella should be prepared.
Although repertoire does not have to be completely themed around Christmas, well-known carols and Christmas ‘classics’ will attract big audiences. Choirs performing in church at this time will usually be asked to perform Advent pieces only.
We will locate you as close to the city/town centre as possible to allow you to walk to your concert venues. All accommodation offered will provide a friendly welcome with warm and cosy rooms to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Many hotels and hostels will invite your group to perform to their other guests.
Christmas is a wonderful time to sample the culture and customs of the place you have travelled to. Allow your students to try traditional foods and drink that are part of the Christmas celebrations. Special biscuits, breads, cakes, chocolates and many other delights can be sampled at the Christmas markets as well as warm and satisfying drinks prepared in the traditional manner.
Enjoy performances from local folk groups and watch one of the processions.
Take your students ice skating on one of the central squares.
River cruises by night allow you to see the city lights from another perspective
