This amazing and thrilling park is just a few kilometres from the city of Poitiers in France’s region of Poitou- Charentes. France’s most innovative learning experience, contained within arresting modern architecture, Futuroscope brings together the very latest advances in giant screen film, a massive 3D cinema and virtual reality simulator. There are many films to see in incredible colour and definition, using the most up to date techniques. You can travel through space courtesy of the Hubble telescope and explore the treasures of the Nile through film. One of the latest attractions is the ‘Dances with Robots’ where a giant arm takes its riders 7 metres in the air for an airborne waltz!
From May to August, the events organisers at Futuroscope erect a stage in the Park, opposite the main lake and adjacent to the restaurants. The stage is available for concert performances during the weekends only in May and June and mid-week during July and August. Concerts take place during the afternoon and are very well-received by the visitors to the Park. Please note that groups need to provide a recording before being accepted to play at Futuroscope.
