The shores of Lake Geneva are shared between France to the south and Switzerland to the north, which means that our music groups can enjoy a two country tour in one of Europe’s most spectacular spots. Our groups stay on the French side at the foot of the majestic Savoy Alps. The city of Geneva makes an interesting excursion; see the impressive Jet d’Eau, the English gardens with the famous flower clock, and enjoy a tour around the United Nations. Cruise over Lake Geneva to the city of Lausanne, with its stunning old town and the Olympic Museum, or to Montreux, home of the well known jazz festival.
All group types will enjoy a tour to this area. The many summer festivals which take place in the larger towns as well as the beautiful mountain villages give our groups great opportunities to perform. In Evian itself, a summer festival takes place and concerts are held to capacity audiences on the Esplanade by the lake. Morgins has an impressive concert hall, while Geneva itself offers a variety of venues, including the bandstand and the Auditorium Calvin, where we can arrange for sacred choirs to sing mass. The bandstand in Vevey and the theatre in Lausanne offer more excellent concert opportunities in Switzerland.

CIS Evian lies about a 10 minute walk above the town of Evian, affording magnificent views across the lake. The centre offers a very high standard of rooms (2 and 3 bedded with private bathroom) with excellent facilities including rehearsal rooms, self-service restaurant with very good food, bar, TV room and outdoor recreation areas. We thoroughly recommend CIS Evian.
