Netherlands - Noordwijk

Youth Orchestra • Sacred Choir • Secular Choir • Band • Marching Band

  • Easy travelling distance to Amsterdam
  • Great, child-friendly accommodation
  • Plenty to do in resort

Noordwijk is a clean and friendly seaside resort, some 45 minutes’ coach journey from Amsterdam, with activities such as bowling, swimming and minigolf, and 13 km of sandy beach. It is also in the heart of the flower growing area, and every April it explodes into colour. From Noordwijk, you can enjoy visits to clog-makers, cheese farms and windmills, as well as visiting Amsterdam, with its network of canals, museums and picturesque buildings.

Concerts

Noordwijk is another Dutch destination which is appropriate for all ensemble types. Performing possibilities include Lighthouse Square. One of the attractions of Noordwijk is its relative proximity to Amsterdam, which offers some great venues such as the Oude Kerk and the Engelsekerk, where programmes of a secular as well as sacred nature are welcomed. Groups can visit De Efteling, a fantastic theme park, and give a performance on the bandstand which will entitle the group to free entry to the park.
