The Costa Brava, lying to the north of Barcelona, is blessed with a beautiful, wild coastline flanked by rugged cliffs which create stunning little bays and sandy coves. The weather is reliably sunny and although popular with tourists the area still manages to retain its Spanish essence. The Costa Brava offers bustling seaside resorts and quiet fishing villages with an extensive choice of excursion possibilities.
The venues on the Costa Brava tend to be outdoor ones such as the main squares in the medieval town of Peratallada and the beautiful village of Empuries. In Barcelona, we have excellent relationships with several important churches, including the magnificent Cathedral. You can normally perform either as part of the Mass or in concert. Other interesting venues include the lighthouse in Tossa de Mar, the Ciutadella in Roses and the monastery of Besalu.

All the hotels we use along the Costa Brava are an easy drive from Barcelona and the area’s other attractions. Coach parking is easy, hotels are good value, and youngsters can be more easily supervised than in Barcelona itself. A typical hotel is the 2-star Hotel Ninays in Lloret de Mar. With 100 rooms, all with private bathroom, it is a family-run hotel just 500m from the centre of town and the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a meeting room and a bar with TV.
The Costa Brava is full of festivals in which our groups can participate. These include the prestigious festival of Empuries, where high quality ensembles are invited to perform.
Flamenco lessons can also be arranged for your group! Ask us for more details. |
