Club Europe is a specialised school group tour operator, in its 28th year. We operate 3 products: concert, ski and educational tours to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
Club Europe’s concert tour programme is operated by a specialised team of musicians who match venues throughout Europe to the specific needs of choirs, bands and orchestras.
The position:
We are recruiting a Concert Tours Adviser to sell our concert tours product to teachers and music education professionals. Person will be reporting directly to the Head of Concert Tours.
Remuneration and incentives:
- Salary: £18k basic plus commission. Realistic OTE in first year £21k

Person specification
- Solid musical background (A music degree and performing experience)
- Extensive travel experience and knowledge of Europe
- Sales experience and hunger to meet and beat targets
- Determination and resilience
- Excellent standard of spoken and written English
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Driving licence
Job description
- “Soft” and “cold” calling to schools and youth music groups
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
- Meeting sales targets
- Using your own music and travel experience to advise clients on our destinations and concert product
- Maintaining and updating database
- European travel to enhance product knowledge

Tour Managers required
Club Europe Holidays employs Tour Managers on an ad-hoc basis, accompanying school and youth ensembles on tour in Europe. Concert tours run all year with the busiest periods being during the spring and summer seasons making these positions ideal for students and teachers wishing to work during holiday periods.
Each tour is tailor made to the clients needs. The client will have agreed an itinerary for the duration of the tour and all concerts will have been booked and publicised in advance of their departure.
A Tour Manager’s duties include reconfirming concert arrangements and liaising with local venue organizers, booking any excursions required by the client in resort, carrying out on-the-spot publicity for concerts, interpreting and communicating the client’s needs at the accommodation and meal times. Discussing any changes to the itinerary with the coach driver(s) and accompanying the group on all concerts and excursions.
We are looking for friendly, confident staff that possess excellent organizational and communication skills to represent Club Europe in resort. You should be of smart appearance and be fluent in a European language. An interest in music would be an advantage.
