Tailor-Made Itineraries

Although there are suggested itineraries for all of our destinations, every tour is tailor-made to suit your particular requirements. Our aim is to produce a tour that exactly matches your needs.

Accommodation

All centres have been chosen with school groups in mind and represent excellent value and ideal facilities. Many centres have their own grounds, meeting rooms and well designed in-house facilities. The usual rooming arrangement for the students is 2 to 6 bedded with either bunks or single beds. On each page, we feature one centre and suggest others which we recommend. Leaders’ rooms are normally 2 to 3 bedded and generally with en suite facilities. If the adult composition is such that a single room is necessary this will be provided free of charge. Any other single room requirements will incur a supplement.

Executive Coaches

In order to maximise your comfort, we contract air-conditioned coaches for all our tours.

The quality of your coach is important to the success of your tourwhich is why we take great care in selecting our coach operators. All coach companies are subject to the stipulations of our Safety Management System.

For comfort and value we recommend 48-seater single deck coaches. These are full specification vehicles with reclining seats, toilet, video/DVD and PA system. Depending on your destination and tour itinerary, you will have 1 or 2 drivers per coach.

Double deckers

We are pleased to have a limited number of high quality double decker vehicles available for larger groups. Please be aware that due to their limited supply double decker coaches carry a supplement that will be costed into your tour. Please request early to avoid disappointment.

Channel Crossings

Our standard Channel crossing is Dover - Calais with P&O Ferries and our tours are costed on this. Eurotunnel can also be used; departure is from Folkestone and travelling time to the French terminal at Calais just 35 minutes. This travel option is available at a small supplement which varies depending on the time of year.

Flights

Flying gives you the opportunity to take smaller groups abroad. Your group may be allocated a special desk for check-in (subject to availability), which normally takes place 2 hours before departure. Provisional timings are advised on receipt of first deposits and final flight timings are confirmed about 4 weeks before departure. We can arrange your UK airport transfers as well as your continental coach hire. Please contact us for a special quotation.

Eurostar

Great for smaller groups Eurostar takes only 2 hours 35 minutes from London to Paris. We have negotiated excellent group rates which makes this service an excellent alternative to coaching. It is one of the most advanced passenger trains in the world and provides an ideal solution for small groups and those with limited time. Please ask for a special quotation.

Insurance

All party members are covered from the time we receive first deposits and confirm your booking. Full details of the insurance cover are supplied 24 hour Emergency Service at option stage or earlier if required.

Low Cost Air Destination

Since the introduction of low cost carriers to many of our popular destinations we have seen how these excellent value operators have opened up many possibilities to our school groups. Look out for this symbol in the brochure for an indication that a low cost flight quotation can be given for this destination.
