Due to the success of our high quality language courses in France and Spain, we are pleased to introduce our successful German language course, which is based in the beautiful German Rhineland. Here, our groups can explore this interesting region while practising their language skills, as well as enjoying structured language lessons at the accommodation centre.

About the course

Maximum of 15 students per tutor group.
All teachers are qualified to teach German as a foreign language.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 - Morning departure from school for afternoon Channel crossing and evening arrival in Oberwesel.

Day 2 - Morning language lesson. Afternoon visit to Castle Rheinfels and the town of St Goar.

Day 3 - Morning language lesson. Afternoon Enjoy a visit to Boppard and the chairlift en route to Koblenz for shopping with your new language skills.

Day 4 - Morning language lesson Afternoon cruise on a Rhine steamer.

Day 5 - Morning departure for afternoon Channel crossing and evening arrival at school.

Accommodation
Oberwesel Youth Hostel Language lessons are held in the accommodation centre itself. The hostel is situated on a hill above the popular resort of Boppard and offers modern accommodation for groups.
Capacity:	206 beds
Rooms:	2 - 4 bedded with private facilities.
Facilities:	Indoor pool, extensive outdoor sports grounds, 14 seminar rooms, a large recital room and a games room, distro and cafeteria.

Visits & excursions

Bonn: Beethoven’s birthplace.

Köln: the 750-year-old cathedral and Roman-Germanic Museum. Also chocolate factory and museum.

Koblenz: situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle. It has one of Europe’s largest shopping malls, the Löhr centre.

Phantasialand: theme park with rollercoasters, log flumes and flight simulator.

Nurburgring: Germany’s oldest and most famous Formula 1 racetrack.

Trier: 2000 years old with its Roman ruins, amphitheatre, baths and the Porta Nigra gate.
