School Tours in Italy - Sorrento

Classical Civilization, Art, History, Geography & Perf/Art

Campania, situated in Italy’s sunny south, is one of the country’s richest and most culturally fascinating regions. We base our groups in the glorious town of Sorrento, from where you can visit many places of interest to school groups, including the region’s capital Naples, the Greek Temples at Paestum and the Roman ruins at Pompeii. With its impressive sea cliffs and with a magnificent view of Vesuvius, Sorrento overlooks the bay of Naples and has been visited over the centuries by the likes of Lord Byron, Keats, Wagner and Nietzsche.

Visits & Excursions

Pompeii: the town famously covered by Vesuvius’ ash in AD79.

Paestum: visit the magnificent ruins of the Greek temples and visit the museum.

Island trips: take a boat trip to the islands of Capri and Ischia.
