We feature our most popular destinations in the earlier part of our brochure, but we also operate tours to other parts of Europe. Here is a taster of some of the other destinations which offer great educational opportunities for students. France

Home of CERN, the world’s largest
particle physics laboratory, Geneva is a
historic city with much to see. Sights include the
impressive Jet d’Eau, the English gardens and
the United Nations. The shores of Lake Geneva,
upon which the city of Geneva nestles, are
shared between France to the south and
Switzerland to the north and you can take a
boat trip from one side to the other.
Accommodation – groups are usually placed in excellent ‘centre’ accommodation in Evian, France.

Having escaped the ravages of the

areas; the Castle district, the Lesser Quarter, the
Old Town, the new Town, and the Jewish

Venice, is easily explored on foot, but
perhaps the most exciting introduction
is to take to the water on a vaporetto
down the Grand Canal or across the lagoon
from Punta Sabbione. The main shopping is in
the Mercerie, linking two focal points of the city,
the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square.
Accommodation – 2 and 3 star hotels in the nearby coastal resort of Lido di Jesolo (40 minutes by vaporetto from Venice)

Emanuel stands next to the Forum. Whether
you travel by coach or air much of Rome is
best explored on foot.
Accommodation – 2/3 star hotels in the heart of Rome. All coach groups stop overnight en route to and from Rome in Montecatini, from where it is possible to visit Florence before travelling on to Rome.

lanes leading to the Planty, a leafy park that
encircle the Old Town. The city’s Wawel Castle,
perches on a hill just outside the Old Town.
Sights not to miss include the city’s Jewish
quarter, made famous by the film ‘Schindler’s
List’ and the salt mines of Wieliczka.
