The Saalbach-Hinterglemm Ski Circus is firmly established as one of the most sought-after European destinations for skiers of every level offering a superb variety of skiing and breathtaking scenery. The modern, well-connected lift system with its numerous high-speed gondolas offers over ten main entry points into the ski circus, providing easy high level access and meaning queuing is absolutely minimal. A total of 60 lifts enable high-mileage circular tours in both directions and the 200km of well-prepared marked pistes keep even the most energetic skier busy for a week! In addition, recent modernisation of the Zehnerschlepplift in Hinterglemm and the Asitzmuldelift in Leogang has increased the capacity for carrying skiers to the slopes! The circus has also become a paradise for the snowboarding enthusiast, as there is a number of snow parks, offering pipes, half pipes and specially designed slopes.

The skiing

With the opportunity to do the circuit in a day, this really is one of the best ski areas in Austria, if not Europe! We have come to expect only the finest tuition from the superb ski schools, having been partners with Club Europe for over 20 years. First time skiers will begin their week on the

nursery slopes just above the villages, and by mid-week will be experiencing the mountains as they see their progression to gentle slopes higher up. It is our aim to have every skier conquer a peak by the end of the week, and in terms of progression and variety you cannot beat Saalbach-Hinterglemm!

Club Europe Beginner’s Special

We have negotiated a special package for groups staying at the Mitterlengau and Vorderlengau houses. Due to the proximity of private beginners slopes within walking distance of both houses, we have costed into your tour a 1-day private lift pass for each beginner and a subsequent 4-day Saalbach-Hinterglemm lift pass. This means you benefit from even greater savings as your beginners do not waste a 5-day pass and the overall group will see the progression onto bigger slopes far more quickly. See the price insert for the details of both packages.

Après ski

The lively villages of Saalbach and Hinterglemm offer some of Austria’s most extensive entertainment and après ski (30 bars, 9 discos, 40 mountain restaurants). Due to the high number of Club Europe groups in this area, we ask our groups to pre-select a choice of the following:

  • Bowling at “Bobby’s”
  • Skating
  • Swimming
