The Saalbach-Hinterglemm Ski Circus is firmly established as one of the most soughtafter European destinations for skiers of every level offering a superb variety of skiing and breathtaking scenery.
The modern, well-connected lift system with its numerous high-speed gondolas offers over ten main entry points into the ski circus, providing easy high level access and meaning queuing is absolutely minimal. A total of 60 lifts enable high-mileage circular tours in both directions and the 200km of well-prepared marked pistes keep even the most energetic skier busy for a week! In addition, recent modernisation of the Zehnerschlepplift in Hinterglemm and the Asitzmuldelift in Leogang has increased the capacity for carrying skiers to the slopes! In addition, new snow cannons will ensure good skiing is guaranteed.
The circus has also become a paradise for the snowboarding enthusiast, as there are a number of snow parks, offering pipes, half pipes and specially designed slopes.

The skiing

With the opportunity to do the circuit in a day, this really is one of the best ski areas in Austria, if not Europe!

We have come to expect only the finest tuition from the superb ski schools, having been partners with Club Europe for over 20 years. First time skiers will begin their week on the nursery slopes just above the villages, and by mid-week will be experiencing the mountains as they see their progression to gentle slopes higher up. It is our aim to have every skier conquer a peak by the end of the week, and in terms of progression and variety you cannot beat Saalbach-Hinterglemm!

Après ski

In addition to the many great in-house facilities on offer in the valley our groups will also have the usual evening excursion possibilities both locally and in the neighbouring town of Zell am See which is about 30 minutes by coach. These are very heavily booked in the peak weeks so we suggest you try to pre-select your preference in advance to avoid disappointment. Some favourites are:

  • Bowling and Karaoke at “Bobby’s”
  • Skating
  • Swimming
  • Curling
  • Free Ski show
  • Watch a Premier league Ice Hockey Match at Zell
  • Sleigh rides
  • Night skiing
After huge investment over the last few years Saalbach Hinterglemm now has state-of-theart snow-making and a very fast, modern lift system. The nursery area in Saalbach now has a child-safe six-seater heated lift and the Hausenauer lift in Hinterglemm has also been modernised. This should stop any queuing. This area has a fantastic Easter snow record and offers great skiing!
