Your Club Europe lift pass covers both San Valentino and La Polsa. There are a combined 45km of piste runs, mostly on wide open snowfields. The nursery slopes in both areas are in uncrowded snow bowls. Beginners make genuine fast progress on the 15 novice runs, whilst several long and wide blue runs give them the opportunity to become familiar with higher altitudes. Intermediates can clock up good mileage on a variety of medium grade runs, while the resort’s black runs are a challenge, but not too intimidating.
Your Ski Rep will help you put together a low-cost, easily supervised programme of après ski. This can include snowshoe descents either at night or in the morning (with instructor) flood-lit ice-skating and a tasting of local specialities in a mountain restaurant. There is also the exciting adventure park Acropark in Polsa di Brentonico. Discos can be held at the Hotel La Betulla.
Capacity 120 CE Rating****
This exceptional-value, 3 star hotel in La Polsa is run by Mr Girardelli, who extends a very warm welcome to our groups. The hotel is by the village centre, just 100m from the ski school meeting point and the slopes. All rooms have private facilities and the food is excellent. There is a large room available which can be used for discos where a large projector screen allows you to watch films, you can also have the opportunity to make or bake your own pizza in a real pizza oven.
