Located close to the border of both Austria and Slovenia, Tarvisio is a small, traditional alpine town nestling in the north east corner of Italy. Surrounded by mountains, the skiing area is both varied and extensive, with both the Tarvisio and Sella Nevea slopes to enjoy. Add to this 100% snow cannon coverage and some of the highest specification ski equipment you can find, Tarvisio offers our students a first class, all-round skiing experience!

The skiing

Our groups will ski both the Tarvisio and Sella Nevea ski areas with the Club Europe ski pass. The combined area enjoys a long skiing season, from November to May and the snow record is excellent even at low altitudes. You will be able to enjoy a variety of blue, red and black runs, while intermediate and advanced skiers will also have the option of extending their ski pass to give access to a further 60km of pistes, crossing into both Austria and Slovenia.

Après ski

Tarvisio is a good-sized town, offering plenty of bars, cafes and discos. Other possibilities include ice skating in nearby Pontebba, snow shoe walking and even dog sledding!

Hotel Il Cervo

The Hotel Il Cervo is a friendly, family-run hotel with 56 well-appointed rooms, all with private bathroom and TV. The hotel, having been recently updated, is of a very high standard and offers our students a variety of facilities including lounge areas, cosy bar and a fitness suite with sauna, tanning room and whirlpool bath. Add to this the fact that the hotel is situated directly at the foot of the slopes, close to the ski lifts, and a short walk from the centre of Tarvisio, the Hotel Cervo makes an excellent base for our groups.

Hotel International

The Hotel International is typically alpine in appearance and offers a similarly traditional welcome to our groups. With just 30 rooms, the hotel accommodates one group at a time which means maximum flexibility for our student groups. All rooms have private bathroom as well as radio and TV. You will also find a cosy taverna, social room and bar, together with a brand new fitness room. Situated in Tarvisio itself, all the town’s facilities on the doorstep. The ski lifts are just 200m from the hotel.

Hotel Haberl

One of the most established hotels in Tarvisio, the 3 star Hotel Haberl has been recently extended and renovated to offer splendid accommodation for our groups. Its central position in the heart of Tarvisio means that our groups can explore the town and enjoy its excellent après ski attractions with ease, while the lifts are just 500m away. Every bedroom has its own style and character and all rooms have private facilities and TV. The restaurant, which is well-known in the town for its excellent Mediterranean and local cuisine, is joined by other facilities which include bar, sauna (situated nearby but available to guests) and TV room.
