We're delighted to offer this unique science tour based in Geneva, Switzerland, featuring a visit to CERN, the European organisation for Nuclear Research.

CERN operate the world's large particle Physics laboratory and employ nearly 8,000 scientists and engineers representing 608 universities and research facilities.

Travelling by Eurostar and staying at the youth hostel in Geneva, this four-day three-night trip costs from just £400 per person.

In addition to the visit to CERN, other highlights of the trip will include day trips to Lake Geneva and the United Nations Buildings. The popular Jet D'eau on Lake Geneva and The Flower Clock are also must sees.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel by Eurostar to Geneva to arrive at lunchtime. Afternoon sightseeing in Geneva, with a chance to visit Saint Peter's Cathedral or the Place Neuve, the focal point of Genevan culture.

Day 2 - Day spent on Geneva's beautiful lakefront. Take a river trip and see the popular 450 ft high Jet D'eau (water fountain) and stroll across Mont-Blanc Bridge to see Geneva's famous Flower Clock.

Day 3 - A day at CERN, including a guided tour of its exhibitions, experimental areas and other facilities.

Day 4 - Morning visit to the United Nations Building before travelling back to school via Eurostar to arrive mid afternoon.
